Reds Early, Trout Late
Summer is close, and The Redfish are tailing Early pounding Topwater plugs and Chicken on a chain saltwater assassins. The Reds are a little skittish, but
there is nothing like an IndianRiver freight train(brut redfish) charging a top water plug, Im sure lots of Anglers would agree..
The gator sea Trout im finding have been in the range of 24 to 27 inches, 5 to 8 lbs.
I have been finding these Trout in 3 to 4 ft of water, and they are pounding a popper rigged with a live shrimp..
should be a great season, so grab your coffee and a pair of polarized lenses, and lets soak a few lines!!

The Hunt is On
The hunt for Redfish is on!!! 4/19/2010
Well another tournament has been and gone, now back to business.
It's been a tough season getting these redfish to bite, but that's
what its all about, the challenge.
The winner of this years hunt for reds tournament was 17 spots
caught in Ponce inlet, on of all things a banjo minnow.
well its something new for me to try, and something new for these picky
redfish to bite.. I am a top water fan, nothing like a top water redfish attack.
But we do have to get our clients on redfish so i will try anything.
lets have a great season, and fish on. Capt Russ

What a long winter
Spring 2010
Now that the Lagoons is starting to warm, the Redfish and SeaTrout will be pounding
everything in sight!!
The Black Drum have been roaming the north flats as well, in good numbers.
It didnt take long for 4 Black Drum to nail a 3in Fish bite or the Reds to follow and attack my goto lure Ghost white Spook jr...
looking forward to a great season
