If it's Tailing Reds you want, then "let's go! grab your coffee and polarized lenses and let's hit it...
As the water continues to warm, the pods of redfish start to split up and scatter all along the Indian river and Mosquito Lagoon areas, as well as the Sea Trout, and the Black Drum.
The past few days have been really nice and calm, but as the day progresses so does the afternoon breeze..
I primarily have been concentrating on the northend of the lagoon. There i have been doing well with large redfish, monster seatrout and lately the past few months Black Drum have found a home on the northend of the lagoon.
My go to lure has always been the white Heddon super spook jr, nothing like topwater action with a bull red, or a nice sea trout. Black drum have been pounding a new lure i was introduced to, the CW crab, they out of Texas and they are just awesome for blk drum and reds too.
some of the other baits ive been using are, live shrimp, live mullet, and my collection of natural color saltwater assasins.
Fairwind and Calm Seas everyone, and lets go fishing
